...another random school sketch waiting for the new artwork xD I'm desperately trying to scan my pencil drawings properly, but I can't remove the roughness >____> HALP
I bought the spray to hold the graphite on the paper without let it blend all around! I used it on some drawings on my sketchbook but gosh it stinks!! ...now my sketchbook smells so badly..
If you have a google+ account I can tell you how to remove the roughness.. (there's a thing on their picture editing tool that does wonders but I can't find it anywhere else!)
Nope ^^ Just log on to you google+ and find the picture uploader (it's kind of like facebook but it might take some looking around to find it) and then upload a picture. Once it's loaded, there should be a little pencil icon in the corner for editing. Click that.
It should take you to a window with your picture and some tools on the left side. First click "auto-fix" (if you skip this, your picture will end up too light in the end). Then, from the four tabs at the top, choose "effects". Scroll down that menu until you find one called orton-ish. Use that and you can use the sliders to adjust it all you want, but it washes away the grainy roughness and brings out the lines a bit better.
I hope that helps! It's kind of complicated so if that didn't make sense, give me a day or two and I'll put together a tutorial for it. (I've been meaning to anyway) Hope that helps ^^
